I have always felt an inexplicable yearning for the extreme — perhaps rooted in an instinctive awareness of life and death. Standing on the northernmost coastline of Great Britain, I am captivated by the North Atlantic wind as it stirs the waves and drives them crashing against the cliffs. Here and now, what I cherish most is the air. It contains everything, encompassing the essence of the planet. In this moment, its scent is, to me, a profound expression of love.
