I know very little about the place where my parents grew up, the place called hometown. I have imagined my parents' childhood life there, which always overlaps with the abstract dampness and roughness in my few memories. The great evolution of society may have brought about the division between generations, but the wheel of history always rolls forward, and the birth and disappearance of life never ceases.
