Xinyu Huang is an artist specializing in photography, sometimes working with videos, text, etc., currently based in Chongqing, China and Dundee, Scotland. Her practice revolves around the intense perception and confusion about the complexity and fragility of the world that arises in the modern wasteland, tending to explore individual self-awareness in the rapidly changing world and the irresistible passage of time.
Her current work focuses on the history, memories, consciousness and
primal life force
of individuals, groups, and humanity. She tries to, as a member of the human society and a tiny speck of dust in the universe, reflect on the construction of individual life and the evolution of human beings.
