This is a taken-for-granted visualization of time — a futile attempt to capture the critical point by pushing the camera to its functional limits (Nikon D7100, maximum continuous shooting speed of 6 shots per second, up to 100 shots). Despite all efforts, what is ultimately achieved is merely a reduction in the dimensionality of continuous time.
